One of my least favorite conflicts in a story is when characters have things that they need to say… and they don’t. There’s a time and place for that, but mostly it seems like lazy writing to me. Having two character discuss things is WAY more interesting. In my opinion anyway. That applies to real life too. I like getting it all out in the open. Maybe that started when I came out way back when. It simply hasn’t stopped since then. 🙂
